前から評判は知ってはいたが、訪問しても中々タイミングが合わず、やっとカレーを食べる事が叶いました……がしかし。1450円のカツカレーをオーダー、出されたカレーはごく普通の丸い平皿に面積半分に満たない楕円形のライス、脇に少しのキャベツ、スープカレーばりのサラサラカレー、ライスに斜めに添えられた比較的厚みの無いカツ。見た目のショボさにイヤな予感を感じましたが、本質は味だから……と自分に言い聞かせて食べましたが、やはりダメでした。結論から言えば個人的には、こんな程度のカレーには1450円は高すぎるなと感じますね。まあ、不味くはないですよ。まあ、あまり外食しない人からすれば美味しいカレーでしょう。でもその程度です。具はジャガイモのカケラ１個と他2～3個の野菜、カレー自体には特に美味しいと思われるコクや、スパイスが格別効いてるとも感じない味、カツはオーダーしてから揚げるのを特徴としてるらしいが、大体揚げたてなら、何だって大概は旨いのは知れてるが、そこを差し引いたら、このカツ大した事ないなとなってしまうレベル。食べながら、ふと思ったのが、なんかカレーの味に似た店を感じて少し考えたらすき家のカレーと大体一緒でしたね……大体あんな感じ、すき家カレーの上位互換、それもちょっとだけ。個人的には大差ない位。二度目の来店はゴメンだと、来たのを後悔した位の残念なカツカレー。あの程度のカツカレーに1450円も出すなら、すき家でキングカレー(カツは無いが)、or赤城のカツカレー大盛り、or日本大通りのとんかつどん八のカツカレー、もしくはアサノのすぐ勤務にあるCoCo壱番屋でハッシュドビーフを1450円分の増量で食べた方がよっぽどマシです。あのアサノのカレーをリピートしてる人には悪いが他のカレー屋さんにはもっと安くても美味しいところは沢山あるので食べ歩いて欲しいと思った、まあ、言い過ぎか。アサノのカレーの味でなきゃダメな人(好みの人)もいるでしょうから。総評としては1450円のカツカレーは自分なら、850～950円が妥当だと、それ以上の金額はムダに高いし、周りの評判が過剰に評価し過ぎだなと感じるカツカレーでした。以上。
